« on: February 26, 2010, 03:04:01 PM »
For those interested in the PNG Golf program and what the future may hold for Indian Golf, here is a sample of the quality of player we have coming. A 14 year old from Port Neches, Tyler Rawson is leading the board for Player of the year Honors among the 14-15 year old category on the SouthEast Texas Junior Golf Tour. The Final tournament of the year will be played this weekend at Wildwood. Just a quick look at the standings indicates that a finish of third or better at this weekends Championship will ensure rawson the all coveted Player of the Year Award!!!

Here is a link to the standings, Category 2 is boys 14 and 15 year old:

Rawson is two back after ten holes. The leader is one hole behind Rawson just starting the back nine.

Rawson shot a 90 today. Not his best effort but good enough to take fifth and if I have figured out the calculations correctly, he will win the PLAYER OF THE YEAR for southeast Texas Junior Golf 14-15 yr old bracket!!! CONGRATULATIONS TYLER!!!! I am very proud of you!!!
