Perez and the option can't be stopped. Maybe Aledo can do it.

Png had one of the best offence's in Texas just not enough D to keep us in it, we where about 3 to 4 defensive players from having a state team this year

agreed! I watched them go toe to toe with a potent Dickinson offense few years ago at Rice and was very impressed. They're coached up very well over there.

Totally agree. PNG consistently OVERACHIEVES IMO. for the number and skill set of the kids they have. Lots of heart from the players and support base. If we could have drafted one or two players from CS's bottom half and plugged them in even in a part time basis we might have beaten them.

What they did vs Westlake was first half they kept the ball. 2 turnovers first half one on the last drive of the game inside red zone.  CFs offense looks like (in formation) the mid 90s cowboys and probably had more formation looks than any team I've maybe ever seen. (They only didn't run the wishbone and wing T LOL) would go 2 TE pro single setback one play then pistol the next. Extremely varied formation but we're totally old school they ran it down WL's throats then when they loaded the "box" here comes the play action pass or screen. A near perfect executed game. In the first half 10 yards at a time on 3rd and 8 they'd get 9 consistently. Second half the defining series of the game CF has the ball starting near midfield (last play of 3rd) a deflected pass caught by the QB resulted in a 16 YD loss. First play of 4th Q 2nd & 26 from their own 35 CF QB eludes what should have been a sack and turns it into a 15-16 yd gain PLUS a 15 yard face mask personal foul so what could have been 3rd & 25 from their own 25 turned into 1st &10 from the WESTLAKE 35. Later from the 30 on 4th & 15 CF throws deep to the left side into GREAT coverage with safety help (3 players within 3 yards of each other) amazing toss &catch put CF up by 8 WL possession & punt get ball back and fumble inside red zone. Ballgame. The whole defense from CF was solid with my MVP going to LB #30 going to Air Force (Atkinson I think) CF got good pressure on QB getting big sacks when they needed them but equally important hurries/pocket disruption. They also held JR pocket passer who had 1000+ yds rushing for the season basically in check running. My commentary on how CF beat WL.  Honorable mention to CF punter. (Both punters actually)

And oh yeah on one of the last plays of the game WL inside red zone sack by #30 (extremely fast slowing speed he came out of NOWHWERE) then flea flicker attempt WR WIDE OPEN down rt side severely underthrown pass WR couldn't get back to ball. Either the very next play or a couple after THAT fumble on a completed pass (if I remember correctly) ball game.
