« on: February 28, 2011, 11:18:41 AM »
The NCAA National Indoor Championships will be held March the 11th and 12th at the Gilliam Indoor Track Stadium on the Campus of Texas A&M. Some of the fastest, highest and farthest marks will be set at this meet. It is sure to be a lot of fun for a Track Fan! I have included some links below for information purposes.

Also, I believe PNG Alumn Matt Johnson will be competing in the Men's Heptathlon at the Indoor Nationals. He placed 2nd in that event at the Southland Conference Championships setting a new school record of 5563 points in the process. Matt is currently ranked 19th in the NCAA!!!

Go Matt!!!

I have learned that Matt did not qualify for the Nationals. He is the 19th in the country but only the top 16 get to go during Indoor season. Awesome season for Matt!!! I feel sure he will get there in the Outdoor Season!!! This will be his year to make it there!!!!
