Santa Fe's ace pitcher was good.  And Santa Fe delaying game 3 until today allowed him enough rest to pitch game 3.  If what I heard was accurate, the two teams could have played game 3 on Saturday in Jasper, but the Santa Fe coach said no.

Despite that the Indian bats were active.  It just wasn't meant to be.

Actually it allowed Carter Henry to pitch too.  Does anyone know about the balk situation?

Carter retired 16 straight. I listened to the game on KLVI. It sounded like a great game.

Someone said that Santa Fe didnt have a 3rd pitcher, so maybe thats whey he pushed for Monday.

I thought it was our coach that pushed thinking Carter Henry would pull it through  and he did have a good game despite the balks - the SF pitcher did well too - we just hit into a double play at the wrong time.

the travel for both teams was relentless but that's part of it.
